Accessing the Gym
- Participants can visit the front desk at the Arrillaga Center for Sports and Recreation (341 Galvez Street) or the Arrillaga Outdoor Education and Recreation Center (285 Santa Teresa Street) during normal business **hours** on or sometime after their start date.
- Upon arrival, participants should inform the front desk staff they are affiliated with the CVI Summer Research Program and provide some form of identification (i.e., Government Issued ID, Passport, etc.)
- Stanford Recreation staff will search for participants' accounts within their system and assist them with completing the following items:
- Verification of Account Information
- Facility Access Waiver – Completing the waiver ensures participants’ access and will only need to be done once.
- After signing the required waiver, the staff can assist participants with completing the setup of their mobile accounts via the Stanford RecWell App, which they can download from the following app stores:
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store
- Note—Stanford Rec recommends having their mobile app accounts set up in person after they’ve checked in to minimize backend issues and ensure proper configuration.
- Once their mobile accounts are set up, participants are encouraged to use our Stanford RecWell App to access the facilities during future visits.
The guide linked here can help participants through the login process after they've completed setting up their app account. Lastly, participants can always reach out for support at **[email protected]** with any questions or issues they have.
